With a privileged location in the middle of the property, surrounded by trees and the clean air of the country, stand two charming blue and white cottages.
The Casa das Alcachofras and the Casa das Beterrabas share the same DNA, but being the good sisters they are, each one has a character of its own. Although they live side by side, there’s space for each and every person to find their own private place between the two Casas da Horta.
On the outside, they couldn’t be more Alentejan: white painting on the walls, red doors, tiled roof…And their size is ideal to let the air run through them at leisure, without ever losing the cozy warmth coming from the wood burning in the fireplace.
The surrounding scenery depicts a country scape where the tiniest detail seems to bring you the whole world. When the sun goes from shining to scorching, the swimming pool is there. And if you’re going for lunch, dinner, midnight drinking or end-of-the-day appetizers, there’s also a space for outside meals, designed for leisurely eating, wine-tasting and stargazing. Inside, the priority is clearly comfort and taste. Each house has been decorated in a refined yet simple style providing both an elegant and cozy atmosphere.
